Courtesy call by the Co-ordinator of the Vehicle Theft Reduction and Accident Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, on the Timbalan Ketua Jabatan Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (JPJKK) IPK Kuala Lumpur, YDH ACP Tuan Foo Chek Seng.
KUALA LUMPUR, 10 March 2026: The Co-ordinator of Vehicle Theft Reduction and Accident Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid paid a courtesy call on the Timbalan Ketua Jabatan Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (JPJKK), YDH ACP Tuan Foo Chek Seng at the Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Kuala Lumpur.
The visit aims to further strengthen professional relations between both organizations. It commenced with an overview of VTAREC’s key roles and initiatives in reducing vehicle theft. During the session, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid shared VTAREC’s tentative programs while looking forward to collaborate and work with JPJKK in the future to continue driving down vehicle theft and road traffic accidents.
The main focus of the meeting is to collaborate and making efforts to raise awareness to the public about road safety particularly among young motorcycle riders who are not supervised by their parents and may not possess any valid driving licenses. JPJKK and VTAREC both exchanged inputs and opinions on current road safety issues and plans future collaboration closely to address accident-related issue.

The visit concluded on a positive note with YDH ACP Tuan Foo Chek Seng expressing his full support for future collaborations, on top of providing creative ideas to make awareness campaign more attractive to reach the public. Overall, the courtesy call achieved its objectives and laid a strong foundation for continued cooperation between both parties. Also present during the visit were VTAREC Executives, Encik Muhammad Amirun Mohd Shamshuri, Encik Muhamad Faiz Mohd Faizal and Puan Aisha Fahmy.
