KUALA LUMPUR, 12 December 2025: The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia Berhad (VTAREC) is pleased to announce the Winner of VTAREC’s Ambassador “Chops Challenge” for its nationwide awareness campaign. Adik Afiqah Rasyidah Mohd Rashidi, 11, a student at SK Sungai Tua Baharu, Selangor became the winner of the VTAREC “Chops Challenge”. She emerged as the winner by being the first participant to complete the VTAREC Ambassador “Chop Challenge”. She brought home a bicycle.
Puan Anazlina Mat Jusoh and Adik Afiqah Rasyidah Mohd Rashidi shared their interesting journey experiences to be the winner.
Her mother, Puan Anazlina Mat Jusoh, added that Adik Afiqah’s enthusiasm is shared by her siblings as well. “It’s not just Afiqah who is excited, my other children are equally eager to participate. I fully support all of them in VTAREC’s programmes because VTAREC consistently offers creative, fun and engaging activities”, said Puan Anazlina Mat Jusoh.
Adik Afiqah Rasyidah Mohd Rashidi was happy to receive the bicycle from YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan, VTAREC Chairman.
Speaking at the event, VTAREC Chairman, YBhg Datuk Lokman Jamaan said, “As a VTAREC Ambassador, Adik Afiqah’s role is to promote behaviour and attitudes that care about road safety and save lives on the road, while protecting vehicles against vehicle theft. Share this with families and friends.” He added, “Let’s play our part to protect vehicles from thieves and avoid road accidents.”
YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, VTAREC Co-ordinator said “the campaign has proven to be a hit amongst children, with participation increasing steadily since its launch in August 2024. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, we will continue to run similar campaigns in the future to raise awareness of vehicle theft prevention and to promote road safety through positive changes in behaviour and attitudes.”
“This is part of our commitment to see through the children and public’s lens to offer what truly matters to them while running a campaign to reduce vehicle theft and road accidents,” said VTAREC Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid.

Adik Afiqah achieved a significant milestone by participating in various VTAREC colouring contests and successfully completing the “Chops Challenge”, demonstrating consistent engagement, perseverance and enthusiasm throughout the programme.
