PUTRAJAYA, 21 July 2025: The Co-ordinator of the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid paid a courtesy call on YBrs Ir Tuan Mohd Yusop Mohamad, Pengarah Bahagian Kejuruteraan Automotif, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ).

YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from YBrs Ir Tuan Mohd Yusop Mohamad, Pengarah Bahagian Kejuruteraan Automotif, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ). She used the occasion to share insights about VTAREC, emphasising how its vision, strategic aims and current programmes contribute to reducing vehicle theft and traffic accident, thereby strengthening crime prevention efforts throughout Malaysia.

The courtesy call provided an important platform to enhance co-operation between the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) and Bahagian Kejuruteraan Automotif, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ). Discussions delved into various viewpoints and proposals, with a strong focus on advancing public safety and strategies to curb crime. Both sides also expressed a shared commitment to pursuing future collaborations, especially in the fields of information exchange and community outreach initiatives.
