PETALING JAYA, 9 June 2025: The Co-ordinator of the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid paid a courtesy call on YBrs Puan Nur Asyikin Aminuddin, Treasurer General Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (FOMCA). The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) and Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (FOMCA) to explore possible initiatives aimed at curbing vehicle theft and the illegal purchase of stolen vehicles.

YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), shared an overview of the Council’s responsibilities and ongoing initiatives in tackling vehicle theft and promoting road safety. The discussion included an exchange of perspectives on strengthening efforts to protect consumer rights, particularly those of vehicle owners.
The courtesy visit to YBrs Puan Nur Asyikin Aminuddin, Treasurer General of the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (FOMCA), was conducted successfully, with both sides engaging in meaningful dialogue on opportunities for future collaboration.
