VTAREC Organised Lab/Workshop as an Initiative to Reduce Road Accidents Related to Human Error in Sarawak

KUCHING, 4 February 2025: The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) organised a Lab on Road Traffic Accident concerning Human Errors. The Lab was participated in by around 70 participants from government agencies, non-government agencies, including higher learning institutions lecturers, students and the general public.

YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTAREC, officiated the event and thanked all participants and organisers for their commitment and contributions towards the initiatives. Sharing from Speakers, YDH ASP Tuan Hardy Charles of PDRM IPK Kuching, YBrs Tuan Muhd Ridzwan Abdul Rahman of JPJ Negeri Sarawak and Encik Aniq Denial Fauzi of VTAREC on the situation of Road Accidents provided meaningful insights to the participants.

All of the participants worked together positively, and they were highly co-operative, contributing a wealth of diverse strategic ideas. Their input was not just thoughtful but also strategic, leading to valuable insights that help to guide next steps forward to meet the Research Objectives. The lab highlights the co-operative nature and the strategic value of discussion. Encik Aniq Denial Fauzi and Puan Izzah Mohammad facilitated the Lab, while Puan Marlyana Mansor and Farra Hayani Mohd Tarmizi co-facilitated to ensure the smooth running of the Lab. Puan Izzah Mohammad was the Emcee during the Lab.
