VTAREC Participated in Karnival Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti Co-Organised by PDRM-Sime Darby at Landing Plaza, City of Elmina

SELANGOR, 21 September 2024: The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) took part in a public engagement event to raise awareness about vehicle theft crimes during the ‘Program Karnival Pencegahan Jenayah PDRM dan Sime Darby Property bersama Komuniti Setempat’ held at Landing Plaza in the City of Elmina.

VTAREC engaged the crowd with interactive games and demonstrated how quick and easy it is to apply a steering lock. The demonstration helped raise awareness about vehicle security for cars and all attendees enjoyed learning through the hands-on experience. The event emphasised the importance of protecting vehicles from theft.

The exhibition was a remarkable success for VTAREC, thanks to the strong public participation, as attendees took the time to engage in the Wheel of Fortune and steering lock games. The participants not only gained valuable insights into vehicle theft prevention, but they also took home memorable goodies from VTAREC.

The booth focused on educating the community on effective ways to protect their cars from vehicle theft. In addition, attendees received valuable tips on securing their vehicles during the event. Interactive demonstrations illustrated practical methods for preventing theft and participants gained insights into enhancing their vehicle security, including additional locks for motorcycles and cars. Overall, they left the event with a clearer understanding of how to improve their vehicle protection.
