KUALA LUMPUR, 7 June 2026: A delegation from the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) led by General Manager, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid paid a courtesy call on Ketua Polis Daerah Sepang, YDH ACP Tuan Norhizam Bahaman at Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Sepang.

The meeting aimed to further strengthen professional relations between both organisations. VTAREC presented an overview of its establishment, key roles and achievements including the reported reduction in vehicle theft over the past decade.

Both parties exchanged views on current road safety challenges and agreed on the importance of closer co-ordination in addressing these issues. VTAREC also outlined its planned initiatives for the year, including awareness campaigns and public education programmes. YDH ACP Tuan Norhizam Bahaman expressed support for continued collaboration and both parties concluded the meeting with a shared commitment to improving road safety outcomes in Malaysia.
