BRICKFIELDS, 21 March 2025: Deputy Officer Commanding (OC) of Brickfields, YDH Supt Ahmad Firdaus Mustaffa Kamal, today received a courtesy call from the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid. YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the VTAREC Co-ordinator, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and introduced VTAREC briefly before the meeting started.
YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the VTAREC Co-ordinator, thanked YDH Supt Ahmad Firdaus Mustaffa Kamal, the Deputy Chief of Brickfields District Police Headquarters, who expressed appreciation for the Courtesy Call.
The discussion began with the VTAREC Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, introducing the role and initiatives undertaken by VTAREC. Therefore, both parties exchanged views on issues related to vehicle theft and road traffic accident (RTA), particularly the frequent theft of motorcycles as well as the staggeringly high number of RTA within the community. Various ideas and initiatives from VTAREC were very well received. The police expressed their readiness to co-operate in the future to jointly address the problem of vehicle theft and RTA within Brickfields area.
YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the VTAREC Co-ordinator, presented a memento of appreciation to YDH Supt Ahmad Firdaus Mustaffa Kamal, the Deputy Chief of Brickfields District Police Headquarters.
In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebration, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the VTAREC Co-ordinator, presented some mementoes to YDH Supt Ahmad Firdaus Mustaffa Kamal, the Deputy Chief of Brickfields District Police Headquarters.
