KUALA TERENGGANU, 20 February 2025: The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) organised a lab focused on Road Traffic Accidents related to Human Errors, bringing together government agencies, non-governmental agencies, and academic institutions. Among the prominent speakers were YDH DSP Ahmad Ridha bin Hariri, Jabatan Penguatkuasaan dan Siasatan Trafik, Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Pahang, YBrs Encik Mohd Khairuddin Ahmad, Bahagian Penguatkuasaan, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) Terengganu and Puan Farra Hayani Mohd Tarmizi from VTAREC, presenting statistics on road traffic accidents and human errors.
The workshop fostered a collaborative environment, encouraging participants to share strategies aimed at road safety issues. The session was expertly managed by facilitators, including Encik Aniq Denial Fauzi, Puan Marlyana Mansor, Puan Farra Hayani Mohd Tarmizi and Encik Mohamad Johari as Executive of VTAREC, with Puan Izzah Mohammad serving as the emcee. YDH SAC Dato’ Mohamad Noor bin Yusof Ali, Ketua Jabatan Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti, Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Pahang, has officially closed the lab for Zon Pantai Timur. To conclude the event, mementoes were presented to Team Leaders and the Most Active Participants in recognition of their contributions.
