\u00a0<\/em>KAJANG<\/strong>, 14 December 2025:\u00a0 The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) with the co-operation of Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) and Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) continues organising mini public awareness campaign as continuous effort to advocate the public on vehicle theft and road traffic accident prevention. The mini public awareness campaign was held at Metro Point Complex, Kajang, Selangor.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>The photo session captured cheerful moments shared between VTAREC staff and the young participants, marking the successful conclusion of the VTAREC Mini Campaign for the colouring contest. Participants proudly showcased their completed artwork, reflecting their creativity and understanding of the road safety messages conveyed throughout the programme. The session symbolised strong community engagement and positive support towards VTAREC\u2019s educational initiatives, reinforcing learning through visual expression in a fun and enjoyable setting.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>The main purpose of the campaign is to foster a vigilant and responsible community by promoting the practices to secure the vehicles from theft, besides reinforcing the importance of road safety among the public, thereby reducing the risk of vehicle theft and road traffic accidents.<\/p>\n

Multiple interactive and educational activities were conducted throughout the event, including the sharing of words of advice on vehicle protection and road safety via the Engagement Wall, wheel-of-fortune activities, quizzes, educational games, colouring contests and singing contest sessions. These activities successfully attracted visitors within the shopping complex and encouraged active public participation at the VTAREC booth.<\/p>\n

The judging session formed part of the VTAREC Mini Campaign activities and was designed to encourage greater community participation through creative performances. The singing competition gave participants the opportunity to express their talents in a relaxed and enjoyable environment, while at the same time supporting VTAREC\u2019s efforts to promote road safety awareness. Through this activity, VTAREC was able to engage with the public in a meaningful way and deliver important safety messages in a fun and approachable manner.<\/p>\n

The colouring competition offered a fun and creative platform for children to express their understanding of road safety messages through art. By translating safety concepts into visual form, the activity helped reinforce important lessons in a way that was enjoyable and easy for young participants to grasp. This initiative also supported VTAREC\u2019s objective of instilling road safety awareness from an early age, encouraging children to learn while actively participating in a positive and engaging environment.<\/p>\n
