KUALA LUMPUR<\/strong>, 7 December 2025:\u00a0 The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) is in motion to heighten public awareness about vehicle theft and vehicle accident through organising mini campaign activities that mainly highlighted on the preventative practices to safeguard the vehicle from theft and focusing on road safety. This mini campaign in collaboration with Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) Kuala Lumpur serves as an effort to shape a vigilant community to minimise the risk from being a stolen vehicle victim and to avoid road traffic accident. The JPJ-VTAREC mini campaign that was held at AEON Alpha Angle, Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur, was attended by members of the public. Various interesting educational activities have been conducted during the event such as words of advice for protecting our vehicle and road safety on the Awareness Wall, wheel of fortunes, quizzes, educational game and colouring contests which attract many visitorsfrom the mall to join the VTAREC booth.<\/p>\n

YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, VTAREC Co-ordinator, along with JPJ Enforcement Officer, Tuan Sajiyaahrao, giving away prizes to the winners of the colouring contest. As the first-place winner, Adik Izz Qaiser received a cash prize of RM130.00, a VTAREC t-shirt, a goodie bag and a certificate.<\/p>\n

A special segment of prize-giving ceremony was held for Adik Afiqah Rasyidah Mohd Rasyidi as the winner of the VTAREC Ambassador programme that has been ongoing since August 2024. Adik Afiqah Rasyidah has completed the \u2018Stamp Challenge\u2019 for the VTAREC Ambassador programme by being actively involved in Colouring Contest and other events hosted by VTAREC through the mini campaigns.<\/p>\n
