\u00a0<\/em>SHAH ALAM, <\/strong>20 March 2025:\u00a0 The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) held strategic discussions with the Motordata Research Consortium Sdn Bhd (MRC) Malaysia at the MRC Malaysia office in Shah Alam, Selangor.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held to discuss key initiatives and collaboration opportunities about the Malaysian Vehicle Theft Study. The session focused on strengthening partnerships, particularly in information sharing to enhance vehicle theft prevention strategies and industry best practices<\/p>\n

Also, attending the meeting were Encik Mohd Hairul Abdul Majid, Chief Automotive Technologies Officer, Encik Mohd Akmal Hakeem Mohd Maamor, Senior Research Analyst, Puan Farashiella Mohd Mustafa, Research Analyst, Encik Ahmad Amir Faugi, Graphic Designer, Encik Mohd Shah Rizal Mustafa, Assistant Database Manager, Encik Muhammad Yamani Che Jid, Assistant Database Manager and VTAREC Executive Officers, Puan Farrah Jasmin Jamil and Encik Helmy Akmal Zulqurnain.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>YBrs Puan Mas Tina, VTAREC Co-ordinator and Encik Mohd Hairul Abdul Majid, Chief Automotive Technologies Officer, MRC Malaysia, exchanged views on deterring issues related to vehicle theft and road traffic accident (RTA).<\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>Both parties exchanged insights on current challenges in vehicle security as well as road traffic accident cases and explored innovative solutions to mitigate risks. Additionally, MRC Malaysia highlighted their active international participation in the Research Council for Automobile Repairs (RCAR), including contributions to the RCAR Vehicle Theft and Cyber Security Working Group, as well as engagement in the RCAR Annual Meeting and various activities in the international scene.<\/p>\n

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to further collaboration, aiming to improve safety standards and provide better support for the public and industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n
