PANDAN INDAH, <\/strong>22 February 2025: \u00a0<\/strong>The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council (VTAREC) was delighted to be invited to participate in the KL Fashion Exhibition, an event organised by Pertubuhan Permotoran SB Malaysia. As an organisation dedicated to promoting road safety and crime prevention, VTAREC’s presence at the event was a valuable opportunity to engage with the public and raise awareness about vehicle theft and road accidents. Through an interactive educational game booth, VTAREC educated attendees on essential safety measures while encouraging proactive efforts in preventing vehicle-related crimes.<\/p>\n

The event featured a variety of engaging activities, including a special edition of REBEL Brotherhood<\/em>, a performance by a renowned composer from Shadow Boys MC<\/em>, and informative sessions by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) on narcotics and traffic safety. VTAREC also conducted a Car and Bike Locking Community<\/em> initiative, emphasising the importance of secure vehicle locking practices. These activities served to reinforce key safety messages while fostering a sense of responsibility among attendees.<\/p>\n

Adding to the significance of the event, an official opening ceremony was officiated by a representative of the Minister of Economy, YB Dato’ Seri Rafizi Ramli. The evening continued with captivating performances, including a Fire Breather Show<\/em>, the KL Fashion Show<\/em>, and live music by Kumpulan MELISSA<\/em> and Abam Gad REAL XPDC<\/em>. The dynamic combination of educational initiatives and entertainment ensured a well-rounded experience for attendees, further amplifying the event\u2019s impact on public awareness and community engagement.<\/p>\n

Visitors actively participated in VTAREC’s Educational Games, where they had the opportunity to take on the Steering Lock Challenge<\/em>. This interactive activity not only tested their skills but also provided valuable hands-on experience in understanding the importance of proper vehicle security measures. By engaging in this challenge, participants gained practical knowledge on how steering locks function as an effective deterrent against vehicle theft, reinforcing key safety practices in a fun and educational manner.<\/p>\n

YBrs Puan Mas Tina, the VTAREC Co-ordinator, took the stage at the KL Fashion Exhibition to deliver an insightful speech on vehicle theft and road accidents. While the event showcased fashion and style, it also had strong ties to the automotive community, making her speech highly relevant to the attendees. YBrs Puan Mas Tina highlighted the increasing cases of vehicle theft and road accidents in Malaysia, emphasising the importance of awareness and preventive measures. Her speech aimed to educate the audience, many of whom had a deep interest in motor vehicles, on how to better protect their assets and practice safe driving.<\/p>\n

To make the session more engaging, YBrs Puan Mas Tina shared real-life cases and statistical data to illustrate the severity of vehicle theft and road accidents. She explained how modern technology and law enforcement efforts have evolved to combat these issues, but stressed that public cooperation is key. Attendees listened attentively as YBrs Puan Mas Tina provided practical tips on securing vehicles, such as installing anti-theft devices, parking in well-lit areas, and ensuring their vehicles were always locked.
