\u00a0<\/em>BUKIT MERTAJAM<\/strong>, 14 & 15 December 2026: \u00a0The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) and Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) organised a mini campaign to raise public awareness on vehicle theft prevention and road safety. This collaboration reflects the commitment of all parties involved in supporting public education and awareness programmes. The event was held at AEON Mall Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang.<\/p>\n

The mini campaign aimed to encourage the public to be more alert and responsible in protecting their vehicles, as well as to practise safe driving habits. Through collaboration with PDRM and the Road Transport Department (JPJ), the programme focused on raising awareness of vehicle theft prevention and road safety, especially with the festive season approaching.<\/p>\n

A variety of fun and educational activities were held during the event, including sharing meaningful messages on an engagement wall, a wheel of fortune game, a steering wheel game, quizzes, and a colouring contest. These activities successfully attracted many shoppers and families, creating a lively and positive atmosphere at the VTAREC booth.<\/p>\n

The two-hour colouring contest provided participating children with an opportunity to express their understanding of road safety through creativity. This activity helped them learn important safety messages in a fun and engaging way, while also encouraging parents to participate in discussions on road safety awareness.<\/p>\n

The mini campaign ended successfully at 5.00 pm, marking another positive step in raising public awareness and strengthening the co-operation between VTAREC, PDRM and the community in promoting vehicle security and road safety.<\/p>\n
