{"id":5362,"date":"2026-06-08T16:06:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-08T08:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/?p=5362"},"modified":"2026-06-11T05:11:54","modified_gmt":"2026-06-10T21:11:54","slug":"vtarec-enforcement-officers-and-industry-stakeholders-attended-electrical-vehicle-training-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/?p=5362","title":{"rendered":"VTAREC Enforcement Officers and Industry Stakeholders Attended Electrical Vehicle Training Course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>The participants attended the Electric Vehicle Training Course held at the MRC Malaysia office.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><strong>Shah Alam<\/strong>, 9 &amp; 10 December 2024:\u00a0 The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), in collaboration with Motordata Research Consortium Sdn Bhd (MRC), co-organised an Electric Vehicle (EV) Training Course as part of its knowledge-sharing initiative. The training was attended by enforcement officers from Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ), Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia (JKR), Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Bomba) and was also attended by industry stakeholders, including PUSPAKOM Sdn Bhd, Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM), Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Malaysia (AMLA), Malaysia Takaful Association (MTA), Pos Malaysia Berhad and Malaysia Automotive Robotics &amp; IoT Institute (MARii).<\/p>\n<p>The event commenced with a welcoming remark by Mr Steve Miller, Chief Executive Officer of MRC, followed by a presentation by Mr Adam Leow Tuck Ya, Trainer of MRC Malaysia. The programme served to upskill enforcement officers and industry stakeholders, ensuring they are better equipped with the knowledge and awareness needed to handle EV-related situations effectively. By enhancing participants\u2019 understanding of EV concepts and associated challenges, VTAREC and MRC aim to promote a more informed and proactive approach toward sustainable transportation solutions. VTAREC also expressed its gratitude to MRC Malaysia for their invaluable collaboration in making the EV training course a success.
