IPOH<\/strong>, 23 August 2024: The Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC) organised a seminar on vehicle theft, stolen spare parts, cloned vehicles and road traffic accidents involving various government agencies. The half-day seminar was attended by 46 participants from several agencies, including Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) Negeri Perak, Pusat Pemeriksaan Kenderaan Berkomputer (PUSPAKOM) Sdn. Bhd. and Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The strategic seminar was held at Hotel Casuarina @ Meru, Ipoh, Perak, in conjunction with the VTAREC Vehicle Theft Public Awareness Campaign, which took place at AEON Mall Ipoh Klebang on 24 August 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The seminar aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and enhance knowledge through sharing sessions covering the latest developments in vehicle theft, including smuggling activities, vehicle cloning and stolen spare parts.
