BATU PAHAT<\/strong>, 21 August 2024: The Co-ordinator of the Vehicle Theft and Accident Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTAREC), YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, attended a meeting with the Kor Sukarelawan Polis Siswa Siswi Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (Kor SUKSIS UTHM), led by Sjn Sarudin Sirkan, Trainer of Kor SUKSIS UTHM, to discuss further planning for the VTAREC\u2013Kor SUKSIS UTHM Student Engagement Programme focusing on vehicle theft prevention and road safety awareness initiatives.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Meeting session involving officers and student representatives of Kor SUKSIS Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) together with VTAREC representatives, discussing collaborative initiatives on road safety and vehicle theft prevention.<\/em><\/p>\n

The meeting was organised by Kor SUKSIS UTHM and chaired by Sjn Sarudin Sirkan, representing YDH ASP Tuan Muhammad Fauzi Basri, Co-ordinator of Kor SUKSIS UTHM. Also in attendance were Sjn Nurazlina Abd Rahman, Kpl Mohamad Faizul Mohd Karim, Kpl Mohd Afkhahawari Shamsuddin, Kpl Muhammad Noorfadzlee Mohd Fozei, Kpl Azlan Jamri and Kons Wawien Aderis, all serving as Trainers of Kor SUKSIS UTHM.<\/p>\n

Student representatives from Kor SUKSIS UTHM included Amar Syahmi Mohd Sharmilee (President), Siti Nur Assyahida Mohammad (Secretary) and Dzulkarnain Dzulkhairi (Multimedia Officer). The meeting was attended by representatives from Kor SUKSIS UTHM, as well as Encik Aniq Denial Fauzi, Executive of VTAREC.<\/p>\n

The discussion, led by YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, focused on the specific tasks and responsibilities to be undertaken by both VTAREC and Kor SUKSIS UTHM. Furthermore, the discussion centred on student engagement initiatives aimed at reducing vehicle theft rates while promoting road safety awareness and preventive measures among university members, particularly UTHM staff and students.<\/p>\n

Following the meeting, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid and representatives from Kor SUKSIS UTHM conducted a site visit to Dewan Sultan Ibrahim (DSI), which was identified as a potential venue for the \u201cProgram Kesedaran Awam Berkenaan Kecurian Kenderaan dan Keselamatan Jalan Raya\u201d through the VTAREC\u2013Kor SUKSIS UTHM Student Engagement Programme.<\/p>\n
