Putrajaya, <\/strong>17 May 2024: YBrs Puan Vanitha a\/p Mohan, Pengarah Bahagian Keselamatan Jalan Raya (BKJR), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) received a Courtesy Call from YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) at her office in Putrajaya.<\/p>\n

YBrs Puan Vanitha a\/p Mohan, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid and Tuan Abdul Rahman Paimin exchanged views on vehicle theft in relation to road traffic accidents and discussed potential collaborative initiatives between BKJR and VTREC to reduce the number of road traffic accidents.<\/em><\/p>\n

At the outset, YBrs Puan Vanitha welcomed YBrs Puan Mas Tina and delegates to BKJR.\u00a0 In response Puan Mas Tina expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and introduced about VTREC including initiatives taken to reduce vehicle theft and close co-operation among the close stakeholders including stolen spare which causing road accident.\u00a0\u00a0 YBrs Puan Vanitha expressed her appreciation and took notes of various initiatives and activities implemented by VTREC. The meeting focus on both parties\u2019 concern over road accident data including fatalities and severe injuries, where the record remains high.<\/p>\n

The visit was also attended by Puan Harzuin Halim, Penolong Pengarah Bahagian Keselamatan Jalan Raya (JPJ), Tuan Abdul Rahman Paimin, Penolong Pegawai Penguatkuasa Bahagian Keselamatan Jalan Raya (JPJ), Puan Marlyana Mansur, Puan Nur Jazlina Iszairi, Encik Farid Akmal Johan, Executive Officers of VTREC.<\/p>\n
