KUALA LUMPUR, <\/strong>2 February 2023: Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) has effectuated a sharing session on the 2022 Newspapers Clipping Presentation with its stakeholders. Among the attendees were the government enforcement agencies including Jabatan Siasatan dan Penguatkuasaan Trafik (JSPT), Polis DiRaja Malaysia (PDRM), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ),\u00a0 Ministry of Transportation (MOT) and insurance industry representatives including Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM), and Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA). Apart from VTREC\u2019s sharing, the session encapsulated with invited presenters from Bahagian Keselamatan Jalan Raya (BKJR) of Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ), International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI) and MyGPS (M) Sdn Bhd.<\/p>\n

The sharing commenced with VTREC\u2019s Co-ordinator, YBhg Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid apprising the attendees on the wellspring of information and data to cultivate a good understanding of the Road Traffic Accident (RTA) scenario based on daily news report with the hope to turn around the statistics and make road safety a way of life for everyone. The session continues with a presentation on Road Safety Education (RSE) by YBrs Dr Wong Yau Duenn, Pengarah Bahagian Keselamatan Jalan Raya (BKJR), Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) and followed by a sharing on Vehicle Security (Modus Operandi, Prevention & Safety) by YBhg Dato\u2019 Alex Lye of International Association of Auto Theft Investigators (IAATI).<\/p>\n
