Through investigation by enforcement agencies indicated that the syndicate had falsely declared the contents of the containers to avoid detection and to divert attention from holding anything else, however, were stolen vehicles or illegal spare parts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia (JKDM) has step up their security measures by installing modern rapid scanners at Export Container Gate among others to foil illegal goods from being smuggled including vehicle theft which operated by organised crimes to smuggle stolen vehicle for international market.\u00a0 The scanner installation initiatives were strongly supported by the Westports Holdings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a Klang) and Puan Afiqah Hazi (Government Relations Executive, Westports Sdn Bhd, Port Klang) escorted by Polis Bantuan officers to key areas at the port including vessel wharfs, containers platforms Malaysia\u2019s commitment by the installation, commissioner and Customs Control Room (CCR) monitoring of the rapid scanners at the Export and Import Container Gate over passing hauliers through the
