KUALA LUMPUR,<\/strong> 30 August 2021 \u2013 Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) organised a briefing by Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia (JPJ) for insurance companies and takaful operators in returning Total Loss registration cards virtually. The briefing was organised with the co-operation of Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia (PIAM) and Malaysian Takaful Association (MTA).<\/p>\n

Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC delivered her Welcome Speech, then followed by an introduction session.\u00a0 She also delivered her presentation on nationwide vehicle theft and the relationship between vehicle theft and Total Loss registration cards.\u00a0 The initiative was aligned with VTREC\u2019s main objective to reduce vehicle theft in the country including reducing the \u2018rebirthing\u2019 of illegal vehicle to be put back on the road and cloned vehicles of which exposing public to risks.<\/p>\n
