\u00a0<\/strong>PETALING JAYA, 22 March 2021<\/strong>: The Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) and Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bukit Aman pay a visit to The Department of Chemistry of Malaysia at their Headquarters today.<\/p>\n

Puan Halimah Abdul Rahim, Senior Director of Forensic Science Analysis Centre, Department of Chemistry of Malaysia on her welcoming note<\/em><\/p>\n

Presenting VTREC was VTREC\u2019s Co-ordinator, Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid together with the Executives of VTREC, Puan Afif Aliyana Abu Fitri and Encik Muhammad Alif Mohd Adnan. While the CID presented officers were YDH Tuan ASP Yusmazatu Yahya Yusof, YDH D\/KPL Zainol Ariffin Ahmad, YDH L\/KPL Charles L Sabunting, YDH D\/SI Mohd Azhar Idris, and YDH D\/SM Nik Hamzah Nik Man.<\/p>\n

The Senior Director of Forensic Science Analysis Centre, Department of Chemistry of Malaysia Puan Halimah Abdul Rahim along with the Criminalistic Divison Officers, Encik Saiful Fazamil Mohd Ali, Head of Criminalistic Division and Encik Mohd Azhan Md Deros, Head of Vehicle Inspection Unit and their officers welcomed the VTREC-PDRM entourage.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/em>Puan Mas Tina highlighting issues and discussing matters pertaining to vehicle theft<\/em><\/p>\n

The aim of the visit was to discuss on a wide range of bilateral matters relating to vehicle theft, clone vehicle and inspection the originality of a vehicle.\u00a0 Puan Halimah Abdul Rahim begin with her welcome note and sharing about the department and its role.\u00a0 Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid during her speech did not miss to give a little enlightenment on VTREC and its role in the industry and community.\u00a0\u00a0 Through her speech, she also emphasized VTREC is working closely with PDRM and stakeholders in combating Vehicle Theft Crime in Malaysia.\u00a0 YDH Tuan ASP Yusmazatu Yahya Yusof shared that PDRM always a customer to the Department especially in identifying the originality of a vehicle.<\/p>\n

During the meeting Encik Saiful Fazamil Mohd Ali delivered a presentation on Criminalistic Division and its role.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the discussion VTREC was invited to visit their inspection lab and able to witness the inspection process through a demonstration by one of the experts, Encik Jaafar from the Vehicle Inspection Unit.\u00a0\u00a0 At the end of the visit, Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, YDH Tuan ASP Yusmazatu Yahya Yusof and Puan Halimah Abdul Rahim hoped to work on any possible co-operation ahead.<\/p>\n
