{"id":1629,"date":"2020-09-09T01:57:59","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T17:57:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/?p=1629"},"modified":"2020-09-09T01:57:59","modified_gmt":"2020-09-08T17:57:59","slug":"vtrec-paid-courtesy-visit-to-deputy-director-general-of-customs-malaysia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/?p=1629","title":{"rendered":"VTREC PAID COURTESY VISIT TO DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL OF CUSTOMS, MALAYSIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Puan Mas Tina representing a souvenir to YBhg Dato\u2019 Johari bin Alifiah<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PUTRAJAYA, 14 July 2020:<\/strong>\u00a0 Representative from Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) had the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to YBhg Dato\u2019 Johari bin Alifiah, Deputy Director General of Customs (Enforcement\/Compliance).<\/p>\n<p>YBhg Dato\u2019 Johari bin Alifiah, welcomed Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, Co-ordinator of VTREC and Puan Afif Aliyana Abu Fitri, Executive VTREC\u00a0 in his office, also present was YBhg Dato\u2019 Iskandar bin Jaafar, Director of Customs.\u00a0\u00a0 In the meeting Puan Mas Tina congratulates him on his appointment as the new Director of VTREC representing KASTAM on VTREC Board.\u00a0 Among others, Puan Mas Tina gave a brief background of VTREC, touched on issues pertaining to stolen vehicle being smuggled through ports and the installation of high tech scanners at ports.\u00a0 While, YBhg Dato\u2019 Johari shared his experiences and views in regard to automotive and vehicle theft.<\/p>\n<p>The visit which was performed in a warm atmosphere of which gave an opportunity to have a fruitful discussion and to strengthen relationship to driving down the rate of vehicle theft.
