led to a reduction result"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KUALA LUMPUR<\/strong>, 26 June 2019:\u00a0The ultimate role in VTREC is to reduce the rate of vehicle theft nationwide.\u00a0 The collaboration and combination of PDRM\u2019s efforts with VTREC has not only made positive impacts, it also supports the recent Prime Minister&#8217;s call for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to re-create the objectives and value of the work of &#8216;Malaysia Incorporated&#8217;, the cooperation between the public with private parties.<\/p>\n<p>Encik Mohd Yusof Idris, Senior Advisor VTREC delivered his welcome note during Majlis Soft Launch PDRM-VTREC Vehicle Theft Public Awareness Campaign 2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Yusof-1.png\"><img Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah (JSJ) and Jabatan Pencegahan Jenayah dan Keselamatan Komuniti (JPJKK) in preparing and organising such awareness campaign to drive down the vehicle theft in Malaysia.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The close collaboration between various agencies, like VTREC and PDRM sees a positive reduction in vehicle theft for all categories such as Motorcycle, Personal Motorcar and Commercial Vehicle.\u00a0 A total of 35,953 vehicle thefts were recorded in 2018 compared to 42,158 in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a at Bukit Aman police headquarters today.\u00a0 VTREC in collaboration with PDRM embarked its Soft Launch of 2-month long public awareness campaign on reduction of vehicle theft with slogan <strong>\u201cSAY NO TO VEHICLE THEFT\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/vtarec.my\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Yusof-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter
